World Happiness DAY - you don't need a reason to be happy, just the will.

I just want to notify my readers about an event that you might like to join:

The first ever International Happiness Day on July 10th!

You can participate wherever you are. And I think you'll find the suggested activities worthwhile anytime. I'd love to know what you decide to do, and how you feel about it.

The following is from Maggie Wilde, someone who emerged from deep pain and despair to discover a constant fountain of joy. Her website address is at the end of this email.
Namaste and blessings upon you,
Tosca

The goal: Get 1,000,000 people or more to choose to experience deep inner happiness starting on July 10th! More than 194 countries will be participating.

  • How much happiness and joy are you willing to experience in your life?
  • Why happiness? People who choose to experience happiness daily enjoy great health, fulfilling relationships and success.
  • The International Happiness Day Panel have created tools, mp3 audios and live phone events to support people in choosing happiness for themselves...all FREE!
  • Inform everyone you know and be a part of International Happiness Day on July 10th, 2008!
  • If you just want to participate in a small way on your own…make a commitment to add to the worldwide energy of happiness on the 10th by dedicating a half an hour on that day to writing down all the things you are grateful for in your life. I mean everything…from the fact that the sun rose and set…that you had plenty to eat…that you have friends, family and those that you love around you...be grateful for your car…your job…your talents and gifts…the flowers in your garden or your neighbors garden…the roads we get to drive on…the bridges that are there for us…the trees…the air we breath…your tea/coffee in the morning…the cup you drink from…the support you have around you…be grateful for your body…your legs and feet that carry you every day…your organs that keep you alive…in fact…be grateful for being alive…
  • I do this on a daily basis to remind myself that my life is abundant in every way…
  • A recent study revealed one of the easiest ways to create a happier life is to simply remember to be grateful.

Gratitude – brings contentment.

Contentment – brings happiness

And happiness is what we want for ourselves and those that we love... Be a little happier every day!
